Sunflower Mission takes pride in the fact that at least 97% of funds raised go directly towards our programs. Our current average for the first 20 years of operation is at 99.43%. We are a 501(c)3 organization; contributions are deductible for income tax purposes in the manner and to the extent provided by the law. By donating stocks held for over one year to qualified non-profit organizations, donors can avoid paying capital gain tax, and non-profit organizations can benefit from the full market value of donated stocks. Sunflower Mission is equipped to receive stock donations, which can be conveniently initiated through broker-to-broker transfers, electronic forms, and more. If you're interested in gifting your stocks to Sunflower Mission and require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us.
